The Lofts at Harmony Mills

Rebrand of an historic apartment building in NY

The Lofts at Harmony Mills was once the largest cotton and textile factory in the world. Today, they’re a luxury loft apartment community. They’ve preserved much of the Victorian architecture of the original building, and you can still tour one of the massive water turbines located in the basement. They wanted their rebrand to reflect the rich history and exude a luxurious, high-end feeling.

I went bold with typography exploration, using several typefaces to bring an historical/industrial feel and blend the old with the new. I also created a textile-inspired patterns to build out the brand further, and illustrated the building’s iconic facade for their logo.
